Refund Policy

IHFF follows a strict no-refund model for completed purchases, while still preserving any refund obligations required by law or expressly confirmed by IHFF in writing. This approach is intended to be clear, transparent, and consistent with payment gateway review expectations.

1. General Refund Position

  • All passes, tickets, and registration fees are treated as final sale items once payment is successfully completed.
  • As a general rule, no refunds are issued for change of mind, inability to attend, incorrect date selection, duplicate purchase, late arrival, or unused passes.
  • By completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the event details, selected the correct pass type, and understood the no-refund nature of the booking unless stated otherwise in this policy.

2. When Refunds May Be Considered

  • Refunds may be considered only where the event is cancelled by IHFF and no reasonable transfer, alternate access, or credit option is provided.
  • If a refund is required by applicable law, regulator direction, or a written commitment from IHFF, the refund will be processed in accordance with the applicable requirement.
  • Any exception to the no-refund rule must be expressly confirmed in writing by IHFF; verbal statements do not override this policy.

3. Non-Refundable Circumstances

  • No refund will be issued for missed entry, no-show attendance, late arrival, partial event attendance, or failure to carry valid ID or required credentials.
  • No refund will be issued if a pass is blocked, cancelled, or denied due to inaccurate registration details, policy violations, or misuse of credentials.
  • No refund will be issued for technical issues caused by the purchaser's device, connectivity, app settings, or failure to complete the payment journey after checkout has been initiated.
  • Convenience fees, payment gateway fees, banking charges, or other third-party processing charges, where applicable, are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise.

4. Event Changes, Postponement, and Replacement Options

  • If the event is postponed or rescheduled, IHFF may offer pass validity transfer, alternate date usage, or credit against the revised event schedule instead of a monetary refund.
  • If an event format is modified in a manner that does not materially cancel the core event, IHFF may, at its discretion, provide a comparable alternative instead of a refund.
  • Any replacement option offered by IHFF will be communicated through official channels and may be subject to timelines and verification steps.

5. Refund Process

  • Where a refund is approved, it will be processed only to the original payment method used at the time of purchase, subject to gateway and banking limitations.
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on the payment processor and issuing bank, and IHFF is not responsible for delays outside its control.
  • IHFF may request supporting documents, booking details, or identity verification before processing an approved refund.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

  • If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting IHFF support, IHFF may treat that action as a breach of this policy.
  • Where a chargeback is raised after a valid pass has been issued, IHFF may provide transaction evidence to the payment processor, bank, or relevant authority.
  • Fraudulent or repetitive disputes may result in blocked access to future purchases, event entry denial, or other lawful remedies.
